Personalized Training Programs

We understand that each pregnancy is unique, which why we’re offering customized training programs tailored to your specific needs and fitness level, allowing you to move at your own pace. Our certified personal trainers will design safe, effective workouts that accommodate your body through the undergoing changes and address any limitations or concerns you may have.

1st Trimester

During the initial trimester of your pregnancy, investing in prenatal training can alleviate the discomfort of morning sickness, enhance your emotional well-being, and promote the health status of you and your foetus. Our program emphasizes comprehensive strength training, specifically targeting your core, pelvic and gluteal muscles. By building on these areas, your body gains the necessary strength to remain healthy and free of pain. Overtime, we’ll incorporate light to moderate cardiovascular exercises to support your fitness goals during the first trimester.

2nd Trimester

 As you progress into your second trimester, our prenatal training program continues to prioritize the strengthening and stabilization of your body’s crucial areas such as your hips, pelvic floor and gluteal region. We recommend training at least 2-3 times per week at this stage to help you maintain a healthy weight gain throughout. Your body naturally begins releasing relaxin, a hormone meant to loosen ligaments in the pelvic region to prepare for labor at this stage. Focusing on strengthening these three main areas we’ll help you minimize discomfort and injury risks.

3rd Trimester

During the third trimester, our prenatal training focuses on total body strength training to combat the naturally decreasing mobility you’ll experience. This trimester is all about building endurance to prepare for your labor by maximizing hip mobility and strength. We do so by following traditional strength training exercises like squats, elevated bridges, bird dogs, hip hinges and more! Isolated ab exercises are limited to recent exacerbated round ligament pain in your lower abdominal area. Breathing and stabilizing exercises will help you build the stamina and strength needed for labor. Feeling lethargic at this stage is normal and we will help you increase your mood, generate energy and get a good night’s rest.
